Refreshments are available in the village hall and at 3pm we will take a cup of tea to celebrate the Magna Carta with the rest of the country.

On Sunday 14 June, Pool Riverside Park is holding an event to celebrate new signage and information points in our 16-acre site. Pool-in-Wharfedale is a small civil parish in West Yorkshire. We are fortunate to have been endowed by trust deed with a 16-acre site by the Whiteley family late of Pool-in-Wharfedale in 1971. Until now the grounds have been known as Pool Recreation Grounds and our successful Football, Cricket and Tennis clubs have been accommodated along with Pool Angling Club along the northern border formed by the River Wharfe. We have a historical site within the grounds of a 12th century corn mill and some wild areas alive with a wealth of flora and fauna.
