On the 800th Anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta, the whole nation sits down to tea to celebrate. We will organise a LiberTea in Kowloon Park, Hong Kong between 2pm and 4pm to celebrate Magna Carta, which was the document that laid the foundations for the rights and representation that we enjoy today.

There will be talks and discussion on Magna Carta to the UN Human Rights Covenants and also Hong Kongers’ right of self-determination. There will be a brief history of Hong Kong as well.

There will be tea and cakes for everyone wishing to celebrate Magna Carta: Foundation of our Liberties.
